BioSolWaRe project presented at the Conference on WATER AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN IRRIGATION, (Madrid, Spain, November 2017)
Last 15th November, 2017, the city of Madrid (Spain) held the Conference on WATER AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN IRRIGATION, organized by the General Sub-Direction of Irrigation and Water Economy of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA).
The event brought together technicians and managers at the service of the Administrations, Communities of Irrigators, companies and professionals related to irrigation, with the aim to address the advances in research, development and innovation in terms of optimizing energy and water consumption in the irrigation sector.
Dr. Isabel Martín (Senior researcher and Project manager of CENTA) was invited to attend the Conference and presented the different activities and projects where CENTA is involved in the frame of water reuse in agriculture. The project Biosolware LIFE project was presented as an example for the optimization of wastewater treatment and reuse solutions in the agriculture sector.
